RYE, N.Y. (May 16, 2017) – The Westchester Youth Soccer League welcomes Cedar Stars Academy – Bronx as the newest Member Club to join the Westchester Premier division.

Player development opportunities within Cedar Stars Academy continue to grow each and every day.

Understanding the importance of and recognizing strong player development initiatives are pivotal to the continued growth of the world’s most popular sport. As of spring 2017, Cedar Stars Academy added a ninth branch, Cedar Stars Academy – Bronx, to its elite program.

Cedar Stars Academy – Bronx will join the WYSL Premier division in Fall 2017 as a Member Club under the leadership of General Manager, Bujar Gjata.

“This is an incredible step forward for our club, players, and families,” Gjata said. “The opportunities this brings to our talented athletes are momentous, and we could not be more prepared to begin.”

Cedar Stars Academy - Bronx will field seven teams this fall season (2017) in the U-10 through U-16 boys age groups.

Cedar Stars Academy focuses on promoting the principles of good citizenship, good sportsmanship, and teamwork through the knowledge of, and participation in, the competitive sport of soccer. Cedar Stars Academy currently has four New Jersey branches out of Bergen County, Newark, Monmouth County,

and Morris County. As of Fall 2016, Cedar Stars Academy expanded to New York with an additional three branches in Kings County, Staten Island, and Orange County before adding Cedar Stars Academy – Bronx in Winter 2017. ABOUT WESTCHESTER PREMIER:

The Westchester Youth Soccer League Premier division provides top teams within thirty (30) miles from White Plains, NY the opportunity to play the most competitive schedule possible, for an affordable fee.

Westchester Premier sanctioned by US Club Soccer is comprised of boys and girls teams, ages U10 through U18.

The Fall and Spring season winners of the of U12 to U17 division will play at the Westchester Premier finals to qualify for a FREE entry at the US Club Regionals for a chance to go to the US Club Nationals. Second place qualifies to compete at the regionals but the team is responsible to cover the entry fees.
